Sir: Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) as a comorbiditywas earlier considered to be very unusual among mentally retardedindividuals.1,2 However, current literature review revealsthat OCD does occur at rates at least proportional to the generalpopulation but often remains undetected and untreated among individualswith developmental disabilities.3 Herein, we describethe case of a patient with mild mental retardation and OCD, whoresponded to behavioral therapy.
