Article Abstract

Sir: Switching from first-generation antipsychotic medications(FGAs) to second-generation antipsychotic medications(SGAs) is common. This practice also occurs between SGAs,and occasionally from SGAs to FGAs. Many controlled studies have examined the switch from FGAs to SGAs, but littleresearch has been conducted to examine the process and outcomesof switching in naturalistic conditions.’ ‹
