Sir: We appreciate the questions raised by Cortese et al. with regard to our article identifying higher rates of bulimia in a clinical sample of women with ADHD relative to control subjects. They suggest we might investigate rates of obesity and binge eating in the same large samples of adults and children in which we assessed rates of bulimia nervosa. Unfortunately, data on obesity and binge-eating behavior are limited from these clinical populations.’ ‹
