Article Abstract

Because this piece does not have an abstract, we have provided for your benefit the first 3 sentences of the full text.

Sir: In 1998, Rösler and Witztum1 published the first systematic study of antihormonal treatment of paraphilias with luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) agonists. Since the publication of their promising results, there has been an increasing interest in this new form of treatment.2 Our recently published review3 in the Journal revealed that 118 patients did not relapse if they remained on LHRH treatment.
