Article Abstract

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a common problem that begins early in lifeand in many cases persists through the life span. Psychostimulants have been the psychopharmacologictreatment of choice. Not all patients respond to psychostimulants, and some patients have significantside effects. This paper reviews the use of a nonstimulant psychopharmacologic agent, bupropion,to treat ADHD in both children and adults.
