Article Abstract

Because this piece does not have an abstract, we have provided for your benefit the first 3 sentences of the full text.

Sir: In this case report, we describe a patient with a DSM-IVdiagnosis of conduct disorder resulting in aggression and violentbehavior whose symptoms were controlled with gabapentinafter he had failed a trial of divalproex sodium. There is one previouslypublished report1 of gabapentin in the treatment of mania, but we found no cases describing its use in aggressionrelated to conduct disorder.
