Sir: We present the case of a patient with severe skin pickingwho had not responded adequately to pharmacologic or behavioraltherapy. He received bilateral anterior capsulotomies usinggamma knife radiosurgery leading to improved behavior, reductionin skin picking with wound healing, and no adverse effects.The role of radiosurgery for severe obsessive-compulsive behavioris discussed.’ ‹
